- This was Chuck Scrivener's last card. Scrivener didn't play with the Tigers in 1978. He spent the year in AAA Evansville. Chuck was released after the season. He signed with the Toronto Blue Jays in 1979, but there are no records of him playing after 1978.

I always thought it was funny that Topps gave this guy a double for the "Play Ball" game on the back of his card as he deserved some sort of out instead. He's right up there with Ray Oyler in terms of all-time light hitting Tigers middle infielders.
