1978 Topps Baseball #161 - Bob Boone
Bob Boone was an NL All Star in 1978 and he won his first Gold Glove award. Boone had a .991 fielding percentage and threw out 35% of would-be base stealers.

Regular season: .283, 12 HR, 62 RBI in 32 games.
NL Championship Series: .182 (2 for 11) in 3 games
1978 Highlights:
Apr 24 - Went 3 for 4 with three runs scored in Philadelphia's 12-2 win over the Chicago Cubs.
July 1 - Hit a solo home run in the 5th inning that was the eventual game-winning hit as the Phillies beat the Cubs 2-1.
Aug 26 - Doubled in two runs to help the Phillies beat the LA Dodgers 3-1.
